Today was class picture day. To clarify, a picture of the WHOLE class was taken today, and if you ordered a copy of it, it will have all of the kids (23) minus anyone absent plus the teacher (me!). This is different than the individual pictures like we took in the Fall. Some families ordered individual pictures, and it you did, your child had his/her picture taken individually as well. If you did not order a copy of the class picture and want one, please contact me as soon as possible, and I will try to figure out how to order a copy for you.
Morning Meeting: greeting three people of the opposite gender, spelling cheers for "have", read the ABC chart (letter name, sound, picture), and song (Learning Letter Sounds)
Writer's Workshop: writing three sound words (ex. dog is /d/ /o/ /g/ and we drew 3 lines ( _ _ _ ), then filled in the missing sounds
Math: Comparing and Ordering by Weight
Sharing and Birthday Treats
Centers and Reading Groups
