It's always an exciting day in Kindergarten when the students learn their first Word Wall Word (otherwise known as Sight Word). Today, they learned "is", practiced verbally spelling it, and highlighted it in "Cat's Colors" and in their take-home books "My Mitten".
Letter Learning: initial sound /m/, cut and glue pictures that start with /m/
Math: sorting game "What's My Rule?'
Morning Meeting: practicing saying "Good Morning" with each other's names, asking others when you forget their names
Story: Cat's Colors and highlighting "is"
