Today we watched a bus safety video and listened to a presentation of how to be safe when riding a bus. After that, we went on a bus ride to the Fish, Wildlife, and Parks information center at Lake Elmo park to practice getting off the bus, crossing in front of the bus, and exiting out the back door in case of an emergency. Then, we had enough time to go into the visitor center and look at all of the stuffed animals, feel the different skins, and even see the lake! It was a very fun and learning-filled trip! The students will be ready to ride the bus to the Pumpkin Patch!
